Typically, fudge is a sinful combination of refined sugar, butter and milk, whipped into a deliciously intoxicating sweet treat.
In this version, I’ve used raw honey, coconut oil and sesame butter to create a rich, nutritious & delicious chocolate-y treat that will satisfy any sweet tooth.
5-minute Freezer Fudge
Cream together
1/2 cup raw honey
1/3 cup melted coconut oil, cacao butter, or combo of both
Optional: 5-7 drops of peppermint extract, or a pinch of chili flakes
Whisk in
1/2 cup quality cocoa powder (option: 4 oz baker's chocolate, melted)
dash of ground cinnamon
pinch of salt
until smooth & glossy.
Mix in
1/3 cup nut or seed butter of choice (chunky or smooth) – tahini (sesame), almond, cashew, etc
until well combined.
Pour the gooey chocolate fudge into a parchment-lined dish & freeze for at least 20 minutes to set.
Cut into pieces with a hot knife & store in the freezer.
